Role: Competent Leader Manual Evaluator
More Roles
The Competent Leader (CL) Evaluator evaluates members as they fill roles at meetings and work toward completing the projects in the Competent Leadership manual. The CL evaluator may evaluate a number of people at each meeting.
(For more information on the Competent Leader Manual click here)
At the meeting:
- Collect Competent Leadership manuals from members who are filling roles at the meeting. If any have not brought their manual, encourage them to do so next time.
- Read the introductory information at the beginning of the project for each role you’ll be evaluating.
- Pay attention to the member as s/he fills the role and answer the questions in the manual.
- Return manuals to members at the end of the meeting.
Tips for the CL Evaluator:
- Encourage members to select a project for their evaluation and mark the page. If they do not, find the role in a project yourself.
- Use the Project Matrix on page 76 of the manual as a reference for roles that can be evaluated, and the projects they apply to.
- Balance negative comments with positive comments in your evaluation.
